The Ghost of Sven 11:29 Sat Apr 22 Bobby Moore's World Cup final shirt is 'missing'
Kept in a sports bag in the attic by his first wife, now supposedly in the hands of a 'private buyer'. Strange way to treat such an iconic piece of sports memorabilia

If his ex wife was the official owner then it doesn't matter how many times it's changed hands it still belongs to her

All seems a bit murky
Bobby used to give away his England caps to anyone who asked so it's entirely possible he gave his shirt to some bloke who fixed his car or cleaned his windows
Also missing apparently is the shirt worn by Pele in 1970 which he swapped with Bobby Moore at the end of the game - kelp in the same carrier bag up in the attic...

I’m guessing someone sold it to a “private collector” at a “low key auction” on the understanding it would never come to light.
Now it’s in a book a mystery has to be created to protect people’s integrity.
